Premier League clubs make up the majority of the top ten, but are also easily represented in the top 30. Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, Everton And Crystal Palace are included in that order from the 29th to the 26th, once again highlighting the financial strength of even the average English Premier League teams.

Brighton & Hove Albion The company continues to climb the rankings (now at #21) thanks to its impressive business model of buying low and selling high. The Seagulls’ participation in the 2023/24 Europa League will also have caused an increase in sales.

Flamengo are the only team outside Europe to feature in the top 30, sneaking into the list with a turnover of just under €200m (£168.7m). The Brazilian giants will be looking forward to this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup, which will only bring in more money for the club.

Benfica are the only European team outside the big five leagues represented, finishing in 25th place. Their revenues were exceeded by Italian power plants Roma And Naplesas well as the surprisingly lucrative Eintracht Frankfurt.

Three other Premier League teams are represented outside the top ten Aston Villa And West Ham United in the 18th and 17th respectively. Both earned more than €300m (£253m) in 2023/24, and that figure will only increase for the former following their 2024/25 Champions League appearance.

Newcastle United He benefited from Europe’s premier competition in 2023/24, earning €371.8m (£314m) for the entire season. That’s an impressive 29% increase on last season and they will be eager to reap the financial benefits of the Champions League next season.

French football isn’t exactly in its best shape, but it is a traditional giant Lyons And Marseilles both are in the top 20. The former had a particularly positive 2023/24, as its sales increased by 33% compared to 2022/23.

Surprisingly, there are no Italian teams in the top ten AC Milan, Inter And Juventus everyone sits under the top table. The Turin giants are among the few teams to actually lose money last season – €78.2m (£66m) to be precise – and have fallen to 16th place, with both Milan clubs earning a modest one recorded an increase in sales of 3%.

12th place Atletico Madrid The club was also able to enjoy an increase in sales in the 2023/24 season, but the income is still poor compared to its La Liga competitors. The Champions League final run was a practical cash cow Borussia Dortmundwho generated sales of over half a billion euros during his term in office.

The Premier League’s traditional “big six” all make it into the top ten and spend a lot of money Chelsea least deserved. They generated sales of 545.5 million euros (£460 million) last season, significantly less than their competitors from London Tottenham which earned €615m (£519m).

Liverpool have fallen back to eighth place in the rankings, just overtaking them arsenal who managed the spectacular jump from tenth to seventh place. Those roles may be reversed at the end of the current season, but the Gunners’ 35 percent increase in turnover will please the club’s hierarchy.

Barcelona And Bayern Munich are close together in sixth and fifth place, with the former earning €39.8 million less than in 2022/23 due to its financial mismanagement. Bayern are always stable earners and despite their problems on the pitch, they improved in the rankings last season.

Manchester United They may be in crisis on the pitch, but their performance off the pitch means they have also climbed up the rankings thanks to their €24.9m increase in revenue. However, they are still trying to catch up with their local rivals Manchester Citywho earned 67.2 million euros more than the Red Devils last season on the way to the Premier League title.

Paris Saint Germain They are currently in third place after their superstars were sidelined in recent years, but no one comes close to them real Madrid. The reigning European champions benefited from the renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu, which allowed them to break the €1bn (£886m) revenue barrier in a single season – a new record.
