4 talking points from Tuesday’s second legs

The first four ties of the Champions League play offs are in the books, and the games on Tuesday have put up some wonderfully entertaining matters.

AC Milan’s excretion from Feyenoord is perhaps the headlining result, but all the eyes were directed towards the nervous survival of Bayern Munich against a Celtic side, which were a question of seconds from getting the outfit of Vincent Kompany to extend.

Here is a summary of all actions.

After Santiago Gmeneez had hit his former employers after only 37 seconds to connect things in the event of a case, AC Milan certainly seemed to go into the knockout phase. They drove in the first half, but the script turned completely when Theo Hernandez was released left -back at the beginning of the second release.

Theo, who recorded an unnecessary yellow card before the interval, was shown for a second for diving in the 51st minute, and this act of simulation ultimately cost Milan. They could not cope with the numerical disadvantage, and Feyenoord took control of the game beautiful and finally achieved the goal they needed to win this draw as a whole.

It was a stupid decision by Theo to deceive the official and he had to pay when he observed how his site slipped from the top competition in Europe.

Atalanta plays a nice football at the time of time, but the winners of the Europa League in the last year will not celebrate an intercontinental silver this year after they have come out at the wrong end of a peat festival in Bergamo.

With a 2: 1 advantage in the buttocks pocket, Brugge was more than happy to resale Atalanta and find clear opportunities in the first half with all their possessions. They were 3-0 during the break and the result looked.

The half-time replacement ademola look man seemed to be determined to change the narrative when he scored a goal within seconds after the restart, but his missed penalty sucked the wind from Atalanta. Rafael Toloi’s late red card was the bitter icing on the miserable cake.

There was a good, old-fashioned struggle between Benfica and Monaco, with the Portuguese team winning a 4: 3 overall victory as a 3: 3 draw at night.

Monaco was at the top in the first half and could have scored a handful of goals, with the dangerous Breel embolos missed an excellent chance in a really sublime way. In view of the reasonable space in the Benfica box, Embolo somehow managed to send his efforts over the bar and reached the way he had the most difficulties in trying.

The French side introduced itself twice in the second half, but Benfica just didn’t go there. Vangelis Pavlidis’ penalty made things together with 2-2 at night, and after George Ilenikhena thought that he had set up an extension, Orkun Kokcu sat with six minutes to end an electrical encounter.

Although Celtic was the outsider, he did not hide from Bavaria and could have turned her tie upside down, they would have taken one of their three excellent chances at the beginning of the game. Callum McGregor, Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda could all have celebrated with a little more luck.

Bayern took control of the second half and Celtic had to sit incredibly deep to absorb the pressure, since a counterattack would probably be her only chance of survival in this competition. This golden chance was handed over to them in the hour when Kuhn danced beyond a huge defense to put Celtic in the lead at night.

Celtic Grub deeply and desperately to have undoubtedly deserved their spirited victory, but her determined back line was finally injured home in the ugliest fashion by Alphonso Davies in the fourth minute of added time.

It is a real heartache for Celtic who deserves to celebrate a really impressive draw in Bavaria.
