‘Average at best’ -Kyle Walker could be forced into humiliating Man City return as AC Milan make £4m transfer call

Kyle Walker could return to Manchester City in the summer, with AC Milan permanently decided against the signing of him.

The English man joined the series from the citizens in January, but was not in Italy in and outside the side.

Despite a promising start, the injuries have hindered Walker’s progress, which was recently triggered after an operation on a broken elbow in April.

Since his return, the 34-year-old was mainly used by the bank and only played 28 minutes against Milan’s defeat against Bologna in the Coppa Italia final.

Walker presented a total of 16 times for the Sergio Conceicao side, 11 of which started.

He also has to register a goal or a template, while Milan only made three clean leaves when the full -back started.

And the representations of the England International left him in an uncertain future, although the Rossoneri are now not willing to take the opportunity to permanently sign him after his loan has expired for only £ 4.2 million.

The Italian publication claims that Walker’s record record, together with his replacement of Alex Jimenez ‘impressive form at Right Wing Back, has not convinced the club’s hierarchy.

Italian football expert Daniele Fisichella came to Talk Sport Breakfast to discuss the saga and argued that it could be difficult for Milan to justify the signing, as they do not guarantee that they will be eighth in Serie A next season next season.

Fisichella said: “These 5 million euros would make him the second largest earner in Milan’s books directly behind Rafael Leao.

“And if Milan doesn’t play in Europe next season, this is difficult for her to sign a 35-year-old.

“In addition, Walker’s numbers were at best average this season – zero goals, zero assists for Milan, also for Manchester City, to be fair.

“And if you look at the statistics in Serie A in relation to duels, duels are won, in the last third -it is not one of the top -20 defenders in Italy.”

Although Fisichella turned out to be an appropriate option, he suggested that Walker’s representations might not have enough to convince Milan of his long -term value.

He continued: “He was not bad, I don’t remember that he made big mistakes or Milan problems on what they already had.

“But when she looks at what Milan did when he started, Walker, Milan has only kept three clean leaves.

“So at best he was average.”

After being known for his brilliant pace during his career, Walker can no longer rely on when he joins the dawn of his career.

Milan is planned for a summer of upheavals, with head coach Sergio Conceicao leaving the club and continued after a new sports director according to Antonio d’Ottavios departure in December.

And Fisichella suggested that these factors have also decided against Milan to permanently lend themselves against Walker in their ranks.

He ended: “The perception is that he is a player with a lot of experience, but of course he has lost physical dominance, the pace that has made him excellent in the Premier League for a long time.

“Therefore, Milan, who is committed to a new sports director, a new manager, is a little risk.
