Tottenham players party through the night after first trophy win in 17 years

Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a historic night in Bilbao when they defeated Manchester United to win the UEFA Europa League to raise their first trophy in 17 years.

A shabby gate in the first half of Brennan Johnson turned out to be crucial in sunny Spain and sealed a long-awaited triumph, which as one of the most memorable nights in the 142-year history of Spurs will decrease.

It is not surprising that the players were celebrated with style.

After gratifying scenes on the field and in the changing room, in which beer and champagne flowed – the team returned to the hotel in the heart of the city on board the team bus, where the party continued. At the moment, social media contributions and stories have danced, sing and soaked.

Yves bissooma in particular stole the ramp light and danced without a shirt in the aisle with the medal of his winner, which proudly draped around his neck.

When they were back in their hotel, the celebrations continued, with some players and employees celebrating until the early hours of the morning – still in their full kits.

Clips that are shared on social media platform X Showed the squad, the galas “Freeed From Desire” – the legendary football anthem, which was famous by the heroic deeds of the former Wigan striker Will Grigg – was made famous around 3 a.m. with drinks and smiles.

The celebrations were even switched on on the aircraft trip. The players proudly posed with the trophy and continued the chants of “Glory, Glory, Tottenham Hotspur”.

A trophy, seventeen years in the creation – and a damn good party.
