‘I love you’ – Matheus Cunha buys lavish gifts for Wolves duo in probable goodbye

Matheus Cunha’s time at Wolverhampton Wanderers seems to come to an end.

The Brazilian striker, who was significantly involved in the survival of the wolves with 15 goals and outstanding achievements in the last third, is said to be in one of the greatest broadcasts in summer shortly before joining Manchester United.

It is assumed that an agreement was made between the clubs, personal conditions were settled, and both United and Wolves are said to have agreed on a payment plan for the release clause of Cunhas £ 62 million GBP.

The 26-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract with Old Trafford to extend an additional year.

Before the expected step, Cunha seemed to say goodbye to two of his wolves and Brazilian teammates – João Gomes and André – by giving them Rolex clocks. The gesture was tied to a promise that he gave when the team had avoided relegation, but the messages contained by the gifts indicated a final farewell.

“Thanks for all the moments, you will always be in my heart,” wrote Cunha to both players in a card. “I will always be in love with you and your family. I love you.”

Gomes shared a video by André, which discovered the Rolex in the changing room, followed by a warm hug with Cunha.

André also praised his decreasing teammates and published a photo of the two joint warming up during the season with the caption: “I am sure that they will shine wherever they go, my friend. May God bless you and your family.”

Manchester United will definitely hope that he is doing exactly that.
