Losc Lille presented his new home kit for the 2025/26 season, and while some of the club players modeled the design at the start, it was a gigantic dog that steel the show.
The Ligue 1 page revealed its latest new compensated stripes via a photo shoot outside of their ‘Domaine de Luchin’ Training area -a place where the club’s legendary bronze -Mastiff statue is also housed, an allusion to Lille’s nickname “Les Dogues” (The Mastiffs).
But the statue was not the only dog on duty. A real corner tooth-a Mastiff-War also to see in the shoot.
The dog towered over 4 feet and proudly stood in front of a group of Lille players, including Ethan Mbappé, Lucas Chevalier, André Gomes and Bafodé Diakité as well as women’s team stars Jamila Hamidou and Céleste Delcroix.
The film material behind the scenes also showed that the dog received a lot of attention and affection from the squad and took happiness in the spotlight.
What the kit itself concerns you may have overlooked in the middle of the Eckzuchschhaus, contains red, overlaid with a bold, all-over-geometric pressure.
The club says that the design is inspired by Vauban’s architectural work from the 17th century. The interlocking lines refer to the geometric structures of Lilles of historical buildings and at the same time nod to the club’s pentagonal Wamm, which contains a mastiff.
A striking kit, a creative concept – and a very good boy to round off everything.
