Santos and Umbro introduced a special edition Third Kit to honor the club legend Neymar Jr. and his unforgettable first magic with the team.
The Brazilian international rose to global importance through the Santos Academy, achieved 225 appearances and scored 136 goals in 2013 before joining Barcelona. In January 2025 he returned to the club and more than a decade later marked an emotional return.
The new shirt brings the legendary all-blue design back-a look, which is connected to some of the most memorable eras of Santos. It has a tonal vertebral graphic over the front and the sleeves as well as some thoughtful nod to Neymar’s legacy.
A classic polo collar pays homage to Neymar’s typical, converted collar style during the expression “EU vou, Mas … EU Volo!“(” I’m going, but … I’ll be back! “) Is printed on the neck – an indication of the farewell message of the striker in 2013.
On the front hem, a special patch shows a crown and the word “Principe” (Prince) – Neymar’s nickname in the club. The design contains its No. 10 and the letters “N” in typography.
On June 1, Neymar and the team debuted on June 1st in a collision from Serie A against Botafogo in the Estádio Urbano Caldeira.
Unfortunately, it was not the fairytale return that many had hoped for fell 1-0, and Neymar was sent in the 76th minute after trying to remember Diego Maradona’s notorious “hand from God” at a moment.
Sure to say that this special moment will not make it on future tribute kits.
