Neymar, Toni Kroos among stars to congratulate Carlos Alcaraz on French Open win

Now that the regular European football seasons are over, the fans searched for their sporty fix – at least until the Club World Championship begins on June 14th.

Those who have adjusted to the Finale of the French Open have certainly experienced their solution – and some more – as one of the greatest tennis games ever.

In a five and a half-hour epic with five sets, the Spanish Star Carlos Alcaraz came from two sets on the way to defeat Jannik Sinner and to claim his second Roland Garros title in a row and the fifth Grand Slam of his young career.

When the dust settled, congratulations flooded for the 22-year phenomenon, including some of the biggest names and clubs of world football, many of which clearly watched.

Real Madrid, who supports Club Alcaraz, directed the tribute and posted: “All Madridistas are happy and proud of this brilliant success that is achieved by one of our own.”

The former real midfielder Toni Kroos redesigned a photo of himself in 2022 with Alcaraz – originally “The Future. And I”. -The add a short, coherent follow-up: “Tell you.”

The current Real No. 1 Thibaut Courtois has posted a photo of Alcaraz on his Instagram stories and wrote: “Brutal”. Vinícius Jr. also announced a shot from the Spaniard, who raised the trophy with the one-word image signature: “Locura”– “Madness” in Spanish.

Elsewhere, Brazilian Star Neymar Jr., whom Alcaraz previously quoted as one of his favorite players of all time, offered his congratulations, as did Tottenham and England Dominic Solanke.

Oddly enough, the Spanish National football team was a top-class absence of the congratulations choir.

Although the squad was seen on a phone before the game that Alcarazs watched finals, he ended her night Sauer and lost against Portugal in the final of the UEFA Nations League and his players did not make her compatriot publicly tribute.

While the lack of congratulations from his Spanish compatriots raised a few eyebrows, it is unlikely that Alcaraz destroyed the almost universal worship that he received from the rest of the sports world.
