Paul Mullin set to leave Wrexham and miss out on Championship dream with League One transfer

Paul Mulllin will leave Wrexham to join Wigan Athletic, Talksport understands.

The club end is in talks with Wigan before it stays in the first season in the first season in the next season.

Wrexham Executive on Promotion Hopes and where is Paul Mullin?

Mulllin, who has played an important role in her ascent at Wrexham in four years, will not fulfill his dream of playing in the championship.

The striker has never played in the second stage, and despite his side, which now reaches this level for the first time, he will not play a role.

Instead, he is ready to join Wigan after falling out of favor after a series of injuries and new obligations.

From February, Mullin was not recorded by Manager Phil Parkinson’s in a single matchday squad.

His last appearance for Wrexham was against Peterborough in the EFL trophy when he missed a penalty at a shootout.

And that could be his last game for the club now.

The 30-year-old would have hoped that his fairytale story ended in better circumstances according to his impressive magic.

Mulllin scored 105 goals in 165 games for Wrexham and took her to the first division from the non-league.

He also became an immediate favorite of the Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney, with the Welsh even made a cameo appearance in a deadpool film.

But it was last season when after the arrival of Jay Rodriguez and Sam Smith, he fell the Hack order.

A strike force that also comprises Jack Marriott and Ollie Palmer became even stronger at the beginning of this week when Wreexham signed Ryan Hardie from Plymouth because Mulllin’s chances of being further.

He had already spoken openly about his aversion when he was continuously excluded from the squad at WREXHAM.

But before the end of the campaign, he also revealed exactly what appears for the club in the second stage.

The striker said: “Just to play a game in the championship with Wrexham would be worth absolutely everything.

“It would be the icing on the cake for this story and who knows where it could end.

“I enjoyed every minute here, and if we could come to the championship, that would be phenomenal.”

However, Mullin had not expected to play and added honestly: “From a personal perspective, I don’t think I will play any role in it from here.”

And now what he would happen for, despite Parkinson’s comments, his future was completed in May with a change of loan to Wigan.

Last season, the Latics took 15th place in the first season, 36 points behind Wrexham, which were automatically promoted in second place.

Manager Ryan Lowe hopes to end the campaign as the lowest scorers after the end of his team.

They only scored 40 goals throughout the season.

Mulllin only scored six goals in 46 appearances at this level, but his sum of 93 in the second division proves that he can find the network.

He will try to get an impression as soon as his move has been completed when he looks at eyes on the field for more minutes, even though he missed his dream.
