NFL &  Fanatics re‑imagine all 32 franchises with limited collection kits

In North America, “football” means touchdowns, tailgles and Sunday rituals. For the rest of the world it is a game with goals, chants and club grains. Now both versions of sport collide in a crossover collection that already turns the heads.

Fanatics and the NFL have teamed up for the “Football X Football” collection, a limited jersey series in limited task, which reinterprets each NFL team through the lens of the classic football kit design.

Each of the 32 shirts is fully leaning into the aesthetics of global game thinking of retro collar, inspired patterns and typography that feel more Maracanã than Metlife. But under the surface, each piece is still rooted in the unique NFL identity of each team.

To ensure that the balance felt authentic, fanatics brought together a global design crew from Europe, South America and the USA to combine the colors, the legacy and fan culture of each NFL franchise.

These are not typical fan tops. They are part of the throwback, part concept kit and whole bait.

The collection was only available between June 20 and 22 and 22 at Fanatics Fest NYC, which ran in the Javits Center in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. If you were there, you undoubtedly got something special into your hands.
