In the Premier League season 2024/25, Craven Cottage experienced a reasonable share of Drama, especially Fulham’s exciting 3-2 victory over the later master Liverpool and an unforgettable victory against the FA Cup winner Newcastle United.
But the perhaps the most unexpected showdown came from the field deep in the club’s dressing room.
At a moment that has become viral on social media since then, the teammates of Fulham Adama Traoré and Calvin Bassey fell on a playful but intensive wrestling match, much to amuse their teammates.
The film material shows the two muscle-bound stars surrounded by people such as Kenny Tete and Emile Smith-Rowe. In the first round, Traoré-known for his damn strength and the famous oiled weaponsans’ attempts by the Nigerian defense lawyer to stand on the ground, to commit themselves on the floor (in flip-flops, no less).

Bassey was not ready to accept a defeat, changed his shoes and demanded a rescue that joked that it would make the difference. But it didn’t. Traoré got him the better from him again, knocked him down as Alex Iwobi and filmed the whole and laughed uncontrollably.
Speak to The sunIwobi summarized it best: “I don’t see anyone who defeats Adama Traoré. This type is brick. He is just stupid with legs. It is too strong. He is too strong.”
While Bassey may have to recover from the goal of his pride, Traoré, as Fulham’s undisputed changing room champion, can brag – although manager Marco Silva may have had a word about the potential risk of injury.
