The newly widespread Sunderland has also held talks with Chelsea in relation to Petrovic.

Bournemouth urgently needs a new goalkeeper after not ensuring the services of the loan services last season that Kepa Arrizabalaga signed, who recently completed a change to Arsenal.

With Petrovic, which Chelsea will probably leave this summer, Bournemouth is ready to win the race for the 25-year-old shooting stop.

Chelsea has made it clear that they are not in the way of Petrovic as long as potential applicants meet their evaluation of the player.

If Bournemouth completes a deal, Petrovic will probably be the new goalkeeper number one.

The Serbian spoke last season in Ligue 1 in the Blueco ownership of the Blueco Club Strasbourg.

He played in 33 of her 34 league games last season and only missed her opening game of the season because he was not registered in time.

Petrovic played a key role for Liam Rosior’s men when they secured a seventh place and qualification for the UEFA Conference League of the next season.

Despite his heroic deeds in the Stade de la Meinau, Petrovic did not do enough to convince Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca of his value for the Kader of the Stamford Bridge.

He was excluded with Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen and Mike Penders in the Hack Regulations from the Blues’ Club World Cup squad.

In the meantime, the conversations between Chelsea and Arsenal for wingers Noni Madueke are continued.

The 23-year-old performed on Tuesday evening as a replacement in the 2-0 victory of the Blues World Cup against Fluminense, but doubts remain at the Stamford Bridge in his future.

Madueke has used 20 times in 92 appearances for Chelsea in 2023 since his arrival of PSV Eindhoven.

However, the arrivals of Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens significantly reduce the season next season.

Arsenal and Chelsea are still a path apart in the player’s evaluation, but further discussions are expected this week because the Gunners strengthen their efforts.

Madueke is said to have already agreed a five-year contract with Arsenal, although he still had five years to conclude his Chelsea contract.

Jason Cundy from Talksport admits to the news that he would be disappointed that the English star would emit the Stamford Bridge this summer.

“I’m a fan of Madueke,” said Cundy about talk sport. “He gets a lot of stick from Chelsea fans. I know that many Arsenal fans of what they sign are not particularly impressed.

“I will say here. He is a versatile player and at the end of last season Madueke was in Chelsea’s best XI.

“What he did was that he was moved from right to left and was just as effective on the left.

“I like Madueke. I will be disappointed to go to the left because of his versatility. With Madueke, I’m disappointed to see him. I know that many Chelsea fans don’t agree with me, but I like him.”
