It is assumed that the initial fee is around € 70 million (£ 60.3 million).
The quick progress in the deal came after a week in which the transmission came to a standstill when Arsenal in add-on had not yet reached the price of sporting of € 70 million and € 10 million (£ 8 million).
The asked price of Sporting corresponds to a discount of € 30 million (25.8 million GBP) from Gyokeres’ release clause, which is € 98 million (£ 85 million).
With the almost concluded structure of the deal, the transmission is expected to be completed quickly, since Arsenal and Gyokoker have already agreed personal conditions for a five -year contract.
The end now stands for a long -term saga that extended beyond the current transfer window.
Arsenal was first associated with Gyokoker last summer, with reports on their interest continued over the course of last season.
Talk sports reported in June that the Swedish striker decided to accompany Mikel Areteta’s team this summer and to choose them from other potential Premier League applicants Manchester United.
Gyokoker was obviously intended to join Arsenal after he was a no-show for the first day of Sporting.
The Swede’s snub caused a stinging complaint from the sporting president Frederico Varandas, as it insisted that nobody lies above the interests of the association. “
Varandas added: “If the geniuses that develop this strategy think that this puts pressure on me to make it easier for him to do it, they are not only completely wrong, they also make it more complicated that the player can go.”
