The Brighton Icon and the Grammy winner DJ, Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, has combined two of its greatest passions, football and music, in collaboration with Admiral and Modfather Clothing.
Cook, a lifelong supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion, has teamed up with the classic KIT manufacturer to fall a breathtaking design, which is infused by nostalgia, which is inspired by an almost desired third shirt from the 1994/95 season.
The limited edition publication as “Stand or Fall” Fatboy Slim X Admiral Kit has a retro rib collar with twin popper button attachment, contrasting blue and black stripes and a subtle all-over pressure from Admirals 90s logo pattern.
Instead of a club comb, Cooks sits unmistakable smiley face/skull and crossbones logo, surrounded by the words: “We got together a long, long way” – a poetry that was raised from his 1999 hit “Praise yourself.”
The shirt exchanges the traditional breast sponsor for the legendary Fatboy Slim logo, while the Inside Neck band contains the title of its third studio album: Half between the gutter and the stars.
Each shirt receives in a collector’s box with a custom pressure from the local artist Jamie Eke, and only 500 individually signed editions were produced – each signed by Cook and EKE.
In addition to his local roots, 10% of the proceeds will go from every shirt sold to the martlets Hospice, a charity near Norman’s Heart and the Brighton community.
