Marcus Rashford’s Barcelona debut cancelled moments after transfer unveiling

Marcus Rashford has finally signed for Barcelona, but has to wait for his debut this summer.

Barca announced the arrival of the 27-year-old in a seasonal loan from Manchester United on Wednesday.

Rashford, the first Englishman who has been to Barcelona since Gary Lineker in 1986, has the number 14 shirt for his stay in Camp Nou.

He followed the footsteps of the legendary Thierry Henry and wanted to appear in the legendary kit for the first time on Sunday.

What Rashford said when he signed for Barcelona

Rashford, one of five players who applied for United, is planned for a new beginning in Barcelona after a difficult connection in Old Trafford.

He fell out of favor under head coach Ruben, but gave a look at his quality during a loan in Aston Villa.
