Alexander Isak tells Newcastle he wants to leave in transfer bombshell with Liverpool ready to pay British record fee

Alexander Isak announced Newcastle that he would like to discover a deduction from the club, Talksport understands.

The Swede did not travel to Singapore with Eddie Howe’s squad for her pre-season tour because he continued to speculate about his future.

Talksport understands that Newcastle sources insist that it is due to a thigh problem, even though a precautionary scan becomes clear.

Isak has informed the magpies that he wants to investigate his options, but has previously stopped an official transfer request.

The club’s hierarchy is aware of Isak’s wish to take its options into account this summer and is not willing to commit to new conditions, whereby his current contract is running until 2028.

The 25-year-old sparked interest from Liverpool this summer and at the same time connected to Saudi Arabia with a shift in money.

The Premier League master Liverpool is ready to pay a British transmission record fee for Isak, which has a value of £ 150 million.

The Reds have already signed a striker after confirming the arrival of Hugo Ekikte from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth up to 79 million GBP.

Liverpool, however, remains an active applicant for Isak, whether or in future transfer windows, whereby Newcastle’s preference is still being kept.

Talk sport understands that the hand of the Tyneside outfit, if they are forced, would rather conclude a contract to send their valuable good to Saudi Arabia instead of a rival of the Premier League.

Al Hilal is currently preparing an offer that is over 130 million GBP for the 52-cap Sweden national player.

Isak was excluded from Newcastle’s pre-season conflict in Celtic on Saturday, and chief Howe admitted that he wanted to remove him from “examination” about speculation that he could leave the club.

The Toon manager later revealed that his Star striker would be part of the Asia tour of his team. However, this has not proven to be the case.

Why was Isak from Newcastle’s pre-season tour excluded?

On Thursday morning, Newcastle confirmed that Isak was left out of his travel tray due to a “light thigh injury”.

The former Real Sociedad front man trained with his Newcastle teammates in a pre-season camp in Austria at the beginning of this month.

The striker’s film material apparently appeared on Tuesday individual sessions outside the main group.

The pictures were released on the same day when Talksport reported that Isak Newcastle had met with a blockbuster wage demand of £ 300,000 a week.

Simon Jordan reacted to this news and said: “There is a part of me who understands that he has signed a long -term contract and that they do not have to do anything.

“I think he is worth it to pay after Newcastle, whatever you are willing to pay, and it is a certain restriction for it because it is not just what you do for ISAK. It is what you have to do to others.”

“In addition to poor form and bad actor, he has no leverage,” added Jordan.

Isak enjoyed his best Torecoring return in the last term and recorded 23 goals in 34 league games in the past term.

His impressive gate level helped the magpie to occupy the fifth and to secure a berth of the Champions League for the 2025/26 campaign.

He also played a leading role to help Newcastle ended her 70-year waiting time for a trophy when she defeated Liverpool in March in the Carabao Cup final.

Overall, Isak has scored an impressive 62 goals for Newcastle in 109 appearances for Newcastle since his arrival of Real Sociedad.
