The tragic death of Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva in early July sent shock waves through the football world.
The couple died in a car accident in Spain when Liverpool, before the return of Jota, traveled to the pre-season training session, which has a lasting impact on teammates, fans and the wider football community.
Among those affected are Jota’s close friend and former teammate from Liverpool, Kostas Tsimikas. The Greek international had already achieved an emotional tribute shortly after the news was burned and remembered the memories, laughs and connects the two – both on and outside the field.
Now Tsimikas has revealed another warm tribute: a tattoo with the words “Wish you were here”In addition to number 20 – Jotas Liverpool shirt number, which the club has been retired since then.
The tattoo was colored just two days after Jotas passed by Puerto Ink Athens, who shared a mighty message next to the picture.
“Some ties are beyond football. That is forever,” wrote the studio. “Just rest, Jota. You will never go alone.”
