Everton is interested in signing the former Arsenal star Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Talksport understands.
The Toffees want to add David Moyes squad this summer, and Maitland-Niles has turned out to be a potential goal.

Talksport understands a deal for the left -back of Bayern Munich, Adam Aznou, has been agreed.
The young defender costs 8 million pounds and will connect the Toffees after completing a medical toffees.
However, the recruitment drive may not yet have been carried out.
Maitland-Niles came to Lyon in the summer of 2023 after his contract had expired at Arsenal.
The 27-year-old has two years in his business, although it is not clear what kind of fee Lyon is looking for.
The player himself made over 100 Premier League appearances and would therefore give some experience.

Throughout his career, Maitland-Niles played as a left-back, right-back, central midfielder and on both wings.
During his time at Arsenal, with which he made 132 appearances, he mainly operated everywhere on the right.
He was forced to find a new club in the summer of 2023 after the Gunners had not activated their one-year option, which was inserted into Maitland-Nile ‘deal.
As a six -year -old, he joined the club and helped the club the FA Cup in the 2019/20 season.
But several loans moved to West Brom, Southampton and Roma before he came to Lyon permanently.
He made 73 appearances for the French giants and a return to England could be on the cards.

Maitland-Niles returned in the summer of 2024 to play Arsenal when the Gunners faced Lyon in the previous season.
Maitland-Niles spoke about leaving his youth club: “I am very ripe in my head and I understand how football works.
“Sometimes it’s time to let go of a club that was so nice to you and they had so many years.
“So it was more of a process of trying to continue, both for my family and for me.

“Obviously my contract went out anyway, so I had to find something that was concrete and solid, and I felt that Lyon was the best fit.”
And if Everton formizes its interest, he could return to the Emirates as a Toffee.
