Ajax has its new third kit for the 2025/26 season unveiled-a clean and considered design, which honors the club’s home city and its longstanding history.
The kit produced by Adidas arrives in a beige tone that is inspired by the oldest known reference to Amsterdam – a toll privilege that was granted in 1275 by Count Floris V from Holland to the residents “near the Amsteldam”. It is an allusion to where it all started and brought the club and the common legacy from City together to form a single design.
Blue and dark red details give a touch of contrast, while a modern setting to Amsterdam’s oldest city seal is printed in the neck.
Just like with Ajax ‘home and away shirts this season, the third kit has a special neck banner that highlights the founding year of the city (1275), the anniversary year (2025) and the three crosses of Saint Andrew – a key symbol for Amsterdam’s identity.
Simple but full of importance, it is a shirt that looks into the past and at the same time keeps an eye on the present.
The third kit of Ajax 2025/26 is now available from Ajax Webshop, Adidas.com and selected global retailers.
