After just one season, Palhinha will return to the Premier League with the Bundesliga giants after 46.5 million GBP from Fulham from Fulham last summer.

This means that Bayern Munich scores a goal of 20 million GBP if the deal is made permanently.

The 30-year-old was part of his title winner, but only took six starts in the league in the middle of fitness problems in the 2024/25 campaign.

Bavaria tried to sign Palhinha for the first time in the summer of 2023, but saw a move of £ 55 million on the last day of the window.

Fulham later set a price of 59 million GBP, but then accepted a 46.5 million GBP that contained potential add-ons around 4.2 million GBP.

Joao Palhinha’s Premier League Record

The former sporty Lisbon man Palhinha was excellent in his two seasons in Craven Cottage.

He scored 66 starts and scored seven goals in the Premier League and was appointed Fulham’s seasonal player in 2022/23.

Palhinha played for Portugal at the World Cup 2022 and Euro 2024 with three or four times.

One step after Spurs would offer him more Champions League football after her triumph of the Europa League.

Who did Tottenham in the transfer window?

The side of Thomas Frank sold the midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Marseille for around 17 million GBP after his loan magic in France.

In the meantime, they added Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso, Luka Vuskovic and Kota Takai to their ranks this summer – a total of around 120 million pounds.

Spurs had a medical bay for Morgan Gibbs-White booked before he was drawn to a transfer saga with Nottingham Forest.

They initially activated his 60 million pound-free release clause, but Forest hired a legal complaint against the North London side and their approach for the 25-year-old.

Talksport understands that the forest owner Evangelos Marinakis wanted Manchester City for Gibbs-White, who recently ended speculation with a new contract.

Marinakis could not resist a farewell shot in Tottenham as part of the extension of his skipper.

He said: “As long as I am responsible for all of these actions, approaches should take place in a reasonable way.

“I would never let someone get someone from another team or do something that we do not agree with.

“And above all, as I said, some boys belong to our family.

“With Morgan it didn’t take long for it to agree. It was a very short conversation, with passion and love for the club.

“So if you have passion, if you have something love for something, it is for a few seconds to agree. And all of our supporters should know that this guy loves the club.”
