Alejandro Garnacho could describe a potential switch to Chelsea after another cult hero of Manchester United as his greatest regret.
The Red Devil’s winger was associated with a move to West London this summer, with the 21-year-old not in Ruben Amorim’s plans in the future.

Talksport understands that Garnacho is enthusiastic about Stamford Bridge, but United is pounding at least £ 40 million.
Should Garnacho Old Trafford swap the Stamford Bridge, he would be the first player in 22 years to move directly from United to Chelsea.
The last player who took the move was his compatriot Juan Sebastian Veron in 2003.
It was a decision that would regret the Argentine legend almost immediately.
United triggered a British transfer record of 28.1 million GBP in 2001 to bring Veron from Lazio to England.
Sir Alex Ferguson was seen as one of the world’s leading midfielder and welcomed the acquisition of the box-to-box Maestro through the team.
He said about the player’s arrival: “I never thought that I would spend so much money on a footballer.
“I think he gets his career in great years and will climax and we will get the advantage of it.
“He is a first -class, fantastic footballer with a vision of a game that we can use.”
Veron scored 11 goals in 82 games in all competitions for United and helped the Red Devils to regain the title of Premier League from Arsenal in his second season.

But he was allowed to leave months later, with Chelsea’s new owner Roman Abramovich Veron identified as a perfect player to present his ambitions for the future.
What happened to Juan Sebastian Veron in Chelsea?
He joined £ 15 million – almost half of what he cost two years earlier – and made an immediate impression by achieving his debut in a 2-1 win in Liverpool.
But Veron – and the Chelsea believers know – that would be as good as for the player on his new side.
Veron would appear in just six other top games because he had to struggle with injuries and a lack of shape.
He also had the boss Claudio Ranieri amazed when he initially refused to get from the bank in her semi-finals of the Champions League against Monaco before he was finally persuaded.
After only 14 appearances in his debut campaign, he would never play for Chelsea again.

Back-to-back loan magic at Inter Milan would follow where he would win the titles of Serie A and two Coppa Italia before being borrowed to the boy club studiantes for the 2006/07 campaign.
And in 2007 he sealed a permanent change to the Argentinian outfit to finally end his Chelsea albare.
When Veron entered into the discussion about his Chelsea parade in 2019, he should never have left United.
What did Veron say about his time at Chelsea?
He said: “In Chelsea, the reality was that I had very little time. I had a big back injury and was practically six months.
“I thought more about returning to Italy than staying there in England.”
Before adding: “With United, the truth is that there are only a few things I regret.

“But one is said to have left Manchester.
“They never pushed me or told me:” You have to go “, but they gave me the chance, the opportunity.
“At that time I had conversations with my former colleagues and told me that I had to stay.
“And at a moment I decided to go because I wanted to play because I didn’t know … I should have stayed.”
Ferguson said that he reluctantly agreed to sell Veron, and explained: “He didn’t want to go.
“His agent spoke to Chelsea and he knew it happened.

“We had to look at the long -term perspective, and overall the package we received was too good to reject.”
Veron’s transmission to the south seemed to be doomed from the start, and his ex-Schelsea team colleague Robert Huth revealed that he soon lost the trust of the changing room.
He told The Athletic: “He carried an aura to him, but one thing that is not very forgiving is the changing room of a football club.
“Everything is good and good if you have had an aura and a successful career, but if you step into the changing room and do not really cut you in training or on a match day, this aura is lost pretty quickly.”
Only Jadon Sancho has moved from United from United in the 22 years since Verons, with the wing player participating last season, where he scored a goal in her final triumph of the UEFA Conference League.
But like Veron, he flattered to deceived, with Chelsea paid £ 5 million to avoid that his temporary switch was transformed into a permanent stay.
Garnacho, you were warned …
