Crystal Palace could be forced to reluctantly sell Marc Guehi this summer.
This is the admission of the chairman Steve Parish with just three weeks in the transfer window.

Guehi deals with the last year of his contract in Selhurst Park and was previously ready to make a free transfer next summer.
However, Parish admits that the club could consider a sale this month to regain a fee.
The English international played the full 90 minutes when Palace won the Community Shield on Sunday.
Oliver Glasner’s team followed her FA Cup victory by defeating Liverpool in the Wembley Stadium Liverpool.
After the game, the community was asked whether it would entertain temporary offers for Guehi in the last weeks of the window.
He said about ESPN: “Yes. I mean, of course we should. So that players of this caliber are free, it is a problem. Unfortunately.
“We had a bid [last summer] But Joachim [Andersen] went [to Fulham] And we couldn’t afford to lose both.
“We then had another offer in January, but that was also a difficult situation, and the player had a point of view on this point.
“So we just have to see what happens, but it takes a new contract or a conclusion.”
Who could sign Guehi?
Newcastle previously failed in his attempts to sign Guehi before the beginning of last season and was able to spend their interest in the 25-year-old again.

In the meantime, Liverpool was also overturned as a potential applicant for the defender.
Since his joining the Eagles of Chelsea in 2021, Guehi has made 156 appearances in all competitions.
This summer, the Palace was also considerably interested in Arsenal in midfielder Eberechi Eze.
The community continued: “I think people act in the end.
“If you just don’t worry about revitalizing the team, it is not important to you that you simply put everything off.
“Then we are a fantastic team, you know and if we have four other players, I don’t know what we could achieve, but unfortunately it’s not always so easy.”
The keeping of the palace to the addresses
He also revealed that it could be further additions to Glasers squad before the window closes on September 1st.
Parish added: “We have to see. We will do everything we can. We won’t stop working and we will do everything we can.
“But as far as the people who are here or not, it depends on it. If it is the right decision for the football club and nobody can get anyone to go, then there will be some changes, but they have to make smart.”
So far, Palace has only made two signatures this summer, with Walter Benitez and Borna Sosa arrive at a combined £ 2 million.
