Nottingham Forest has confirmed the signing of Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town.

Hutchinson wrote a five-year contract on the City Ground, whereby the deal also earned around 4 million GBP due to a 25 percent sales clause, which they had taken out last summer.
The blues sold the former starlet of the Arsenal Academy in June 2024 for a first 20 million GBP plus 2.5 million GBP in add-ons.
The 21-year-old switched to Portman Road for the first time for the 2023/24 season, where he received top flight promotion for the first time in 22 years, which led to a permanent transmission.
He was only able to manage three goals and two templates in 31 Premier League appearances last season when the tractor boys had immediately relegated to the championship
But the young midfielder has now sealed a return to the Premier League after he has signed for Forest.
“I am very happy to be here and can’t wait to get started,” said Hutchinson when he reveals in his new club.
“I played on the City Ground a few times and it always felt like an enemy atmosphere, so I’m looking forward to playing behind us here with the fans.
“I will give everything and look forward to the challenge because it is a new chapter for me, but I feel ready.”
Carabao Cup Snub
Hutchinson had not played for the tractor boys in the middle of the uncertainty in his future in the Portman Road this season.
After her defeat against Bromley in the first round of the Carabao Cup, Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna revealed why he was not to be seen.

The manager said: “He trained on Monday, okay and then had the feeling that he couldn’t contribute to the situation today.
“He had the desire to continue to play Premier League football when the opportunity is.
“I think it is known how much care and empathy we have for him, he is a young player, 21 years old, it’s not a simple situation. He is a very, very young player, so we have empathy with him.”
Forest tracking according to Hutchinson
According to reports, Ipswich rejected an offer of 35 million pounds from Forest for Hutchinson last week.
The 21-year-old missed the championship start in Birmingham City with illness before deciding not to play in the cup against Bromley.
Now Hutchinson is back in the upper flight with Forest, which is located in the Europa League this season.
