Brentford Last week a bid of £ 40 million has been rejected and Newcastle has since stated that they are ready to go to 45 million GBP because they are trying to add another attacker together with Nick Woltemade.

Brentford was looking for a Wissa replacement, but a deal for Dortmund’s Max Beer appears.

And talk sport understands that Brentford head coach Keith Andrews is pushing to keep Wissa.

In the last 48 hours, Newcastle has been informed that a sale for less than 60 million GBP is not possible.

Wissa is frustrated about what he perceives as a move as a move, and has decided to go to the stock exchange to explain why he refuses to play or train with Brenford’s first team group, and what prompted him to counter Brentford on Instagram and to extinguish all club photos from his feed.

In an explanation sent to Talksport, Wissa asks the owner Matthew Benham and the directors of Brentford directly to make him to Newcastle.

He said: “In the past few weeks, speculation about my future has been reinforced in the Brentford Football Club. As a result, I wanted to talk directly and honestly about where things are.

“I kept silent for most of the summer, but with just a few hours of the transfer window, I am forced that I want to leave Brentford. I think the club stands in the way all summer despite a number of fair offers.

“Since the day I signed in 2021, I have always given 100 percent for Brentford. I am proud of what we have assembled and never took the opportunity to take a matter of course for the club.

“Brentford fans will always have a special place in my heart. And I always took myself professionally on the field and next to the field. It was a privilege to wear this shirt for 149 games and celebrate 49 goals.

“At the beginning of this summer, I had open discussions with the club’s senior management, including important directors and the new head coach. I have clarified my intention to explore a new challenge.

“During this conversations, I and my representatives were confirmed that the club would not be in the way of a reasonable offer. This was also made in writing.

“Based on this understanding, I tried to find a new club that kept Brentford up to date with full transparency.

“Brentford received a formal offer from another Premier League Club, and I then informed that I wanted to join. I had the impression of all my conversations with Brentford that there was a mutual agreement to separate.

“But when the window comes to an end, the club has now changed its position considerably and left in a difficult and frustrating position against what was communicated.

“I want to make it clear that I didn’t act unprofessional, and I don’t want to leave Brentford on bad conditions either. I was transparent throughout.

“I am still confident that a fair and appropriate solution can be found before the transmission window is closed.

“In the meantime, I have to do what I think is right for my career and family, and insists that Brentford honor her word to connect me a new club and at a fair price.

“I would like to thank all Brentford fans for their support and understanding in this difficult situation. Your energy and belief in me always mean a lot. It was never about moving away from a fantastic football club. It is about coming forward with Brentford’s blessing, based on a repeated obligation that I could leave for a new chapter this summer.

“If you stay beyond this summer, this incredible club will only cloud four wonderful years. Therefore, I ask Brentford’s owner and directors to keep your word now so that I can go in the last hours of the window.”
