Peter Crouch busts out robot celebration in iconic mascot appearance

At the weekend, Peter Crouch did not return to the pitch as a player, but as a mascot for the non-League page Farnham Town FC.

The former England striker towered over players, mascots and even the match officials when he went out with Sholing in South Clash before the Premier Division Southern League in Farnham.

The stunt was a loss after Crouch had ended the mini-League in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL)-but it was anything but punishment for the record amount on the memorial.

Crouch also posed for endless selfies, signed autographs and even joined the other mascot for dinner.

Farnham later welcomed him as class act and wrote on Instagram: “What a man @crouchy! Threw himself into experience and went everything to do the day of everyone!”

Farnham played a 2-2 draw on the pitch to extend their unbeaten start to the division-it is certainly to say that the greatest victory of the day was the dance movements of Crouchy.
