Erling Haaland needed after a freaky accident, while he was in international duty in international duty with Norway, stitching on his face.
The 24-year-old striker of Manchester City scored the only goal in the 1-0 win of Norway against Finland on Thursday and is now preparing for Moldova in her latest World Cup qualification game. But he will do this with a fresh combat scar after meeting a bus town door.
Haaland revealed the incident on Snapchat and, in addition to the caption, shared a photo of a cut under the lip: “I was just beaten up by a bus town door. Three stitches.”
Norwegian Outlet VG reported that he was hit by a luggage door when he left the team bus, although the injury was not considered serious.

Haaland never missed a joke and asked the fans for “just false answers” how it happened. When it was suggested that teammate Martin Ødegaard was responsible, the striker replied: “Right”. He later joked that the cut “looked good”.
Norway is urging their first world championship since 1998, and with four wins from four games – plus four goals in four goals from Haaland – they look good on the course.
And if the team’s star can survive a bus town door, he can probably manage everything that defenders will try next.
