Pep Guardiola was said that he should leave Phil Foden Manchester City if he won’t be the first choice when he returns from an injury.
This is the opinion of Talksport moderator Alan Brazil, who argued that the English international was better than the other options in Etihad.

Since its outstanding campaign of 2023/24, Foden has been hindered by a mixture of fitness and shape problems.
As the reigning Pfa player game of the year, the “Stockport Iniesta” was planned as an English talisman.
Foden had just registered 19 goals from the Premier League and eight templates to help City to record a record title in a row.
He failed to register a goal or help with the euro, even though all seven of the games were founded in the final.
This bad form continued last season, where the 25-year-old only scored seven goals and two templates in the leader.
A sign of his downturn was that he was recently appointed the largest transfer market after he had a value of 35 million GBP.
In order to tighten his problems, Foden revealed that off-Field problems played a role in his “frustrating season” when he retired from the England obligation in June.
“I am amazed that he is not playing at the moment, I’m really,” said Brazil on Talk Sport Breakfast on Thursday.

Foden, which was last presented for England against Latvia in March, was proposed by Stuart Pearce because of his country.

Brazil: ‘let phil go’ ‘
Brazil argued that Foden is better than the players Guardiola is currently in front of them when all their options are fully fit.
Foden started only one of the four games of the city at the Club World Championship, but still left the tournament with three goals and an assist.
In America, Guardiola Savinho and Jeremy Doku preferred as broad options, with the arrival in January, Omar Marmoush and Summer Signing, Rayan Cherki, also compete for minutes, even if the latter duo has both suffered lately.
In the discussion about City’s chopping regulations, Brazil said to Talksport: “Let Phil go, let him go – he is too good not to play.”
Agbonlahor replied: “I think he has a big role.
“If he is back from an injury, he now has to get back into this homepage where Cherki is injured. Marmoush is also injured.
“And he [Foden] must get these services back. Show this hunger that brought him the player of the season.
“If he doesn’t do it, the players who lie in front of him …”

What happened to Foden?
Man City has sold a wealth of young talents under Guardiola, which have since become Premier League and European Superstars.
Palmer and his teammates of Chelsea, Liam Delap and Romeo Lavia, the defender of Liverpool, Jeremie Frimpong, and Jadon Sancho are just a handful of the Etihad Academy players who became known in other clubs.
This has never been a risk at Foden that Guardiola could not be sold – even if a bid of 500 million euros came in.

Agbonlahor discussed his latest editions and added: “In the season, in which he scored 19 goals of the Premier League, he cut off this right side and whipped almost every game into the top corner.
“You didn’t really see this last season. Sometimes you have to have a word with you and say: ‘Listen, I have to get my standards back.’
“Now we have a squad and there are only three other qualifications before the World Cup begins, with top talent, Morgan Rodgers who knock on the door.”
Brazil shot back: “By the way, I think they are hard on Foden.
“I don’t think we saw him and gave him a chance. I really don’t – and City is fighting, that doesn’t help.”
