Manchester United are ready to dismiss any hopes of a transfer fee for £70million flop Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils have resigned to allow the England international a free holiday next summer – a year earlier than planned.

Sancho has not played a league game for United since August 2023 after a public row with former coach Erik ten Hag.
His contract at Old Trafford expires next summer but United have the option to extend it for another year to protect his transfer value.
However, TalkSPORT has been told that United are more inclined to cut their losses completely with Sancho rather than risk paying another year of his wages of around £200,000 a week.
Sancho is on a season-long loan at Aston Villa but is yet to make a Premier League start for Unai Emery’s side.
So far he has only played three league games – including coming on and being substituted in the same game.
Welcome? The red-hot striker gives hope for the World Cup
Danny Welbeck’s brilliant start to the season has put him in line for an England call-up – and a possible new contract at Brighton.
The Pitch Prospect understands England head coach Thomas Tuchel is seriously considering adding Welbeck to the Three Lions squad for the first time in seven years after he scored in each of his last three games.
The 34-year-old’s contract on the Sussex coast also expires at the end of the season, but given his importance to Fabian Hurzeler’s side on and off the pitch, it is almost a given for them to extend his stay.
The Seagulls like to have experienced heads like Welbeck and James Milner in their squad to guide their talented young stars from around the world.
Welbeck’s final cap for England came in September 2018 and he has an impressive England tally of 16 goals in 42 games. He has also already taken part in one European Championship and two World Championships.

Boro’s double jeopardy
Middlesbrough not only have to fight to keep their manager, but also sporting director Kieran Scott.
As The Pitch Prospect revealed on Sunday following Vitor Pereira’s sacking, Boro boss Rob Edwards is at the top of Wolves’ list of potential successors.
Edwards moved further up the list after Gary O’Neil dramatically opted out of a return to Molineux on Monday night amid fan backlash.
Scott was the man behind the appointment of former Luton and Forest Green boss Edwards in the summer but is now on the radar of Championship strugglers Norwich.
West Ham curse strikes again
West Ham are ready to listen to offers for Niclas Fullkrug, who is willing to leave, in January.
Fullkrug has made just 13 Premier League starts since joining the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund for £27.5m following Euro 2024.

The striker’s agent, Thorsten Wirth, admitted this week that his client wants to leave the club after describing the move to the London Stadium as a “failure”.
West Ham are unlikely to stand in Fullkrug’s way, particularly if they can reclaim some of the fee they paid to provide manager Nuno Espirito Santo with funds to bring in up to three new signings.
