According to The Pitch Prospect, Manchester United are considering a move for Tyler Adams from Bournemouth.
The Red Devils have been linked with a number of Premier League midfielders in recent months, including the likes of Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton and Brighton’s Carlos Baleba.

Among those set to strengthen Ruben Amorim’s engine room is Nottingham Forest player Elliot Anderson. The Pitch Prospect reported in October that United had a high regard for him.
But each member of the trio is likely to prove costly for United, with Brighton slapping a £115million price tag on Baleba in the summer.
It’s a similar story with Anderson: Forest reportedly value him at around £100m, while Wharton is valued at £60m.
Adams turns out to be the target
Therefore, the Red Devils may want to turn their attention to a cheaper option.
And as they prepare to face Bournemouth live on The Pitch Prospect on Monday evening, Adams could have extra motivation to put in a strong performance at Old Trafford.
Multiple reports claim that the USA international’s name has been mentioned in talks about United’s future midfield targets after Chelsea targeted him in the summer.
The Daily Mail reports that Adams is worth around £40 million, making him an attractive candidate compared to other midfielders.
And transfer correspondent Ben Jacobs has confirmed that Adams is on United’s radar, albeit with a move likely next summer.
Although formal negotiations have not yet taken place, he indicated that a move would more likely take place next summer.
The reason for this is next summer’s World Cup, where the 26-year-old is preparing to captain his country at the home tournament in June.

It is understood a deal for Adams could be struck if United are unable to sign either of their top two targets in Anderson or Baleba.
In that case, the Red Devils could instead look to sign two midfielders, one of which is likely to be an affordable and more team-strength option.
This is where Adams comes in, who is seen as a player who can do the job, especially if current midfield duo Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes both stay at the club.
United are said to be admirers of the American’s abilities, who would offer both leadership and the box-to-box qualities that their midfield has at times lacked.
And although Bournemouth would be reluctant to let their key player leave, they are expected to listen to offers for him after the World Cup ends.
After an injury-hit first season following his arrival from Leeds in 2023, Adams turned things around in the 2024/25 season.

He was a virtual ever-present in Andoni Iraola’s team, which finished ninth in the Premier League after appearing in the European Cup.
Adams has continued his impressive performances this season, starting 14 of Bournemouth’s 15 league games.
The midfielder also made headlines in November when he scored with a spectacular 50-yard shot against Sunderland.
What did Tyler Adams say about Man United?
With United now rumored to be interested in him, Adams has already spoken positively about his potential suitors, admitting he always enjoys facing the 20-time English champions.
Looking ahead to Bournemouth’s clash with United on Monday night, he said: “It’s just a special occasion.”
“This is what you watch as a child, whether you’re a fan or not. A Manchester United fan walking into Old Trafford will change the way you look at everything.”
“I played with RB Leipzig against Manchester United at Old Trafford during Covid.
“That was the first time I walked into Old Trafford and I thought: my dream really is to play in the Premier League because that’s what this is about.”
“It’s a little better now that I can go back and play there several times and get good results.”
“So yeah, I always look forward to playing against United.”
