Chelsea have been told to bring Thiago Silva back to the club in January.
John Terry has urged his former club to re-sign the Brazilian defender for the second half of the season.

Silva is set to become a free agent at the end of this month after 18 months with Fluminense in his native Brazil.
The 41-year-old returned to his youth team last summer after leaving the Blues.
However, Silva is now looking for a return to Europe ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
He is keen to be called up to the Brazil squad ahead of the tournament, despite not having featured since the 2022 edition.
Terry’s message to Chelsea
Before Silva becomes available again, Terry has urged his old club to include him in Enzo Maresca’s squad.
In a video shared on TikTok, the former Chelsea captain said: “Thiago Silva is available. Now listen to me, a man with great experience, a man with a great relationship with our football club.”
“His two children [Isago and Iago] If he is at our academy he will no doubt be back here in London with his family for Christmas.
“I would like to see this man back in our football club, playing alongside these players.
“I’m not saying he has to play every week, just the experience he can bring playing alongside someone like that.”
“It probably goes back to my role under Antonio Conte in 2017 when we won the league.”

“I didn’t play but I had to play a role within the group, be it as a buffer between the players, the manager, the owners, and I have that level of experience so that sometimes when you’re going through a difficult period or even going through a good period, you know what to say and what to deliver and he certainly brings that too.
“So, Thiago Silva, back to Chelsea, that would make everyone very, very happy, including me, so who knows? I’ll just throw it out there. Thiago, we love you.”
Terry played nine Premier League games in his final season with Chelsea as Chelsea won the title in the 2016/17 season.
It was the last of his five league titles with the club before moving to Aston Villa.
Silva spent four years at Stamford Bridge before his departure in 2024.
During this time he played 155 games for the club and scored nine goals as a central defender.

Silva also won the Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
His two sons remain with the club as part of Chelsea’s youth team, with the eldest Isago being part of the U18 team.
A return to the Brazilian national team for next summer’s World Cup would mean Silva would be taking part in the tournament for the fifth time.
He had been a member of their squad for four years since 2010.
Since making his senior national team debut in 2008, Silva has won 155 caps for the five-time world champions.
Brazil will face Morocco, Haiti and Scotland in the group stage in North America.
