Tottenham loanee Luka Vuskovic has been praised for his super-quick thinking which stopped an opposition player from swallowing his tongue.
The 18-year-old defender continues to make headlines for all the right reasons during his loan spell at Hamburger SV.

Tottenham signed the Croatian star from Hajduk Split in September 2023 but he is yet to play a senior game for the club.
Fifa Rules for foreign players under 18 years old delayed his arrival by two years after Spurs fans first saw him last summer.
Vuskovic scored and assisted on his unofficial debut in the 2-0 pre-season win over Reading in July before moving out on loan.
Since then it has looked as if he would hand over former Spurs boss Martin JolThat’s a bold prediction he will be better than Cristian Romero.
The central defender has scored two goals in 13 Bundesliga appearances and is one of the best in his position in Germany’s top division with his defensive actions, successful dribbling, chances created and aerial duels won.
However, Vuskovic achieved his most impressive rescue operation to date on Saturday in Hamburg’s 1-1 home draw against Frankfurt.

Former Leeds United player Rasmus Kristensen was in serious danger of swallowing his tongue as he appeared to have fallen unconscious after a collision with Miro Muheim.
Vuskovic immediately jumped in to help his struggling rival with his actions celebrated in the Bundesliga website as “potentially life-saving”.
“He was a hero at the weekend when they played Eintracht Frankfurt,” European football expert Andy Brassell told The Pitch Prospect.
“Rasmus Kristensen crashed into Muheim, one of Vuskovic’s Hamburg teammates, and they both looked pretty bad.

“Even though Vuskovic was only 18, he ran over and made sure Kristensen didn’t swallow his tongue.
“He was super quick-thinking and was praised for it.
“It just fits his performance, not only is he really good for a team, their goal is also to avoid relegation.”
Vuskovic experienced a baptism of fire on his debut for HSV, losing 5-0 to Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
But in his second game he recovered and scored his professional goal, and it was actually Hamburg’s first in the Bundesliga since relegation in 2018 in a 2-1 win over Heidenheim.

Such was Vuskovic’s impressive form that sections of Spurs fans called on the club to bring the youngster back early.

Brassell, who back in October named the winner of the Bundesliga’s Rookie of the Month award as future Tottenham captain, said there was no rush to potentially disrupt his development.
He told The Pitch Prospect’s Hawsbee and Jacobs: “He’s having a great time in Hamburg so there’s no reason for him to go anywhere.
“Even though one of his first games looked like a 0-5 win against Bayern, he felt really comfortable.
“He looked like a leader, which is really interesting for an 18-year-old.”
Brassell added: “You will really miss Vuskovic when he goes and he will go because he will be a first-team player at Spurs.”
“There’s absolutely no doubt about it. He’s really good looking.”
