Bayern Munich are keeping an eye on Cardiff teenage sensation Dylan Lawlor, according to The Pitch Prospect.

Lawlor, who turns 20 on New Year’s Day, has already won three senior Wales caps and is seen by national coach Craig Bellamy as a key player for the future.

Bayern are keeping an eye on Lawlor, who will make his breakthrough in 2025.

Premier League scouts flocked to South Wales to watch the cultured defender play in League One.

However, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is believed to have been tracked down by Wales coach Bellamy.

The former Manchester City winger played alongside the Belgian and was also his assistant coach at Burnley.

Bellamy was in the crowd when Cardiff lost 3-1 to Chelsea in the EFL Cup quarter-finals last week and Lawlor impressed again.

Lawlor joined the Bluebirds’ academy at the age of seven and has now broken through into the first team.

He made his senior debut for his youth club in the FA Cup against Aston Villa at the beginning of February this year.

And since Brian Barry-Murphy became Cardiff manager this summer, the 19-year-old has become an important part of the team.

He has played 16 of the 20 League One games so far this season, with Barry Murphy’s men top of the table.
