Former Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku could move just five months after joining from AC Milan.
Nkunku signed a five-year contract at the San Siro after leaving Stamford Bridge for £36million last summer.

But the Frenchman has scored just two goals in 12 Serie A games since his move, with both goals coming on December 28.
He was only in the starting line-up in six of his games for the club, and came on as a substitute in the other six games.
It seems he has failed to prove himself worthy of a regular starting spot and now his future is already uncertain.
Uptown Nkunk
The Pitch Prospect understands Turkish giants Fenerbahce are interested in signing Nkunku in the January transfer window.
However, the 28-year-old is believed to want to stay at AC Milan despite his struggles since joining the club.
That could mean he remains in Italy throughout the winter window and the rest of the season.
But Milan are looking for a deal that could see Nkunku change his stance on a potential move.
A deal has been agreed in principle for Niclas Fullkrug to sign for the Italian giants on loan from West Ham.
Fullkrug has had a short spell in the Premier League and is on the verge of an exit to Serie A.
And with German Rafael Leao, Santiago Gimenez and Christian Pulisic all vying for Nkunku’s place, the French international’s already limited playing time could be reduced even further.

Why did Nkunku leave Chelsea?
Nkunku’s time at Chelsea was similar to his previous short spell at AC Milan.
He joined the Blues from RB Leipzig in an expensive deal worth £52m in 2023, but only made 11 league starts.
The striker scored three Premier League goals in a total of 27 games and scored 18 goals in all competitions for the club.
His greatest success came in the Conference League, when he scored five goals and provided three assists in nine games on Chelsea’s path to European glory in May 2025.
Nkunku’s career in London was partly hampered by injuries, meaning he was unable to achieve consistent minutes.
And when Alejandro Garnacho, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens arrived in the summer, his place in the squad was lost and he left for Milan in the same window.

“A real shame”
European football broadcaster Andy Brassell has spoken about where Nkunku could go next given his poor start in Italy.
And he believes a loan move could be best for him, with Bundesliga clubs potentially considering a possible winter approach.
“It’s a real shame. I think you can put it all down to the time he came to Chelsea with an injury,” Brassell told The Pitch Prospect.com.
“They cannot afford to lose everything they spent on Nkunku, although Chelsea obviously took a significant loss to move him on, which says a lot about what they thought about his future.”
“But really, I don’t think the question of who could loan him is limited to Serie A.”
“I wonder whether a Bundesliga club would benefit from loaning him out. We know he has done a great job in the Bundesliga before.”
