Aston Villa are reportedly planning a surprise move to bring back Tammy Abraham.
Unai Emery wants to strengthen his Villa squad for the second half of the season as they look to maintain their Premier League title aspirations.

Emery’s side are still in contention for three trophies after beating Tottenham in the third round of the FA Cup and are doing well in the Europa League.
They sit third in the Premier League, level on points with second-placed Man City and seven behind leaders Arsenal after 21 games.
Multiple reports claim Villa are currently exploring a move by Abraham to provide competition and support for Ollie Watkins.
The 28-year-old is currently on loan at Besiktas from Roma and has scored 12 goals in 24 games across all competitions.
However, there could be complications as he is in the middle of a loan deal that will become permanent for around £11m if certain conditions are met.
He also has a salary worth around £115,000.
For Abraham it would be a reunion with Villa should he move to the Midlands club.
He spent the 2018/19 season on loan from Chelsea at Villa Park.
He scored 26 goals in 40 games as the club gained promotion from the Championship under Dean Smith and beat Derby County in the play-off final.
Who else is Aston Villa trying to sign?
According to The Pitch Prospect, Aston Villa are also exploring a deal to bring Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher back to the Premier League.

Villa are open to a loan move for Gallagher with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
The England international is happy in Spain but would welcome a return to England to fulfill his hopes of forcing his way into Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.
Villa manager Unai Emery has been keen to sign Gallagher since he was at Chelsea.
Managerless Manchester United have also shown interest in Gallagher but are in limbo following the departure of Ruben Amorim.
Gallagher, who turns 26 next month, has played 51 La Liga games since joining Atleti from Chelsea in the summer of 2024.
Who will Aston Villa play next?
Next up for Villa is 12th-placed Everton at Villa Park.
Afterwards there will be a Europa League duel with Fenerbahce in Istanbul.
Villa have won five of their first six games and are currently third in the Europa League table.
