TalkSPORT understands Bournemouth will resist any offers for Marcos Senesi this month.
Chelsea are among the clubs that have shortlisted Senesi as a possible target.

The Argentine has rejected several offers to extend his Cherries contract, which expires in the summer.
The Pitch Prospect previously revealed that Bournemouth have yet to receive any official contact for the 28-year-old.
Both Juventus and Barcelona have now shown interest in the defender.
Senesi can sign a preliminary contract with foreign clubs before moving on a free transfer when his contract expires.
This season marks the fourth time the central defender has worked for the club since moving from Dutch club Feyenoord in 2022.
During this time he made 111 appearances across all competitions.
Senesi has also started all but one of Bournemouth’s Premier League games this season.
His only absence from Andoni Iraola’s team came against Everton in December, as he served a one-match ban for five yellow cards.
His importance at the Vitality Stadium increased in the summer following several defensive departures from the club.
Center backs Ilya Zabarnyi and Dean Huijsen were sold to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid respectively for a combined £104.5m.

Milos Kerkez was also allowed to leave and moved to Premier League champions Liverpool in the summer.
However, defenders Bafode Diakite and Veljko Milosavljevic both arrived on the south coast to bolster Iraola’s defensive options.
Bournemouth have already lost the services of Antoine Semenyo this month.
The striker has agreed a five-and-a-half year deal with Manchester City for £62.5m, a record sale for the Cherries.
Chelsea’s transfer hunt
Chelsea’s current focus is on Frenchman Jeremy Jacquet as they look to sign a new centre-back this month.
According to The Pitch Prospect, the 20-year-old has told current club Rennes that he wants to join the Blues.

Rennes had hoped to avoid a January exit given their pursuit of Champions League qualification.
They now value Jacquet at more than the record transfer fee of £55.5m they received from City for Jeremy Doku in 2023.
