Bayern Munich take strong Harry Kane transfer stance amid Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi comparisons

FC Bayern Munich is right to be optimistic about Harry Kane’s future; no team in Europe is a better fit for him.

The England captain, who is contracted until 2027, has a £57m release clause which expires at the end of this month.

Kane has scored 21 Bundesliga goals so far this season.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank opened the door for Kane to return early this seasonwhile Barcelona have also been linked.

However, Bayern MunichHonorary President Uli Hoeneßannounced last night that he expects Kane to fulfill his contract until next year.

European football expert Andy Brassell told The Pitch Prospect.com that it should come as no surprise that the club are so relaxed.

Update on Harry Kane’s transfer

“With Kane, Bayern can rightly think or say at the moment: ‘Okay, play for a team that suits you better and plays better football,’” revealed Brassell.

“I don’t think there is one when we talk about a team that really suits Harry Kane at this point.”

On Wednesday, Kane ended his own European goalscoring drought, scoring twice in a 2-0 win over Union Saint-Gilloise.

He is the second-best goalscorer in the Champions League and also the first Englishman to reach the 70-goal mark in UEFA competitions.

Brassell added: “We never really talk about Kane as if he were on stage [Lionel] Messi, [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Kylian] Mbappe, [Erling] Haaland level. But come on, maybe we should do this.
