Tottenham are hoping for a summer swoop for Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs.
Spurs are fighting to retain their current number 1 Guglielmo Vicario, who is attracting interest from Italian giants Inter Milan.

The impressive Roefs, a bargain £11m deal bought by NEC Nijmegen last summer, are among the options to replace Vicario.
23-year-old Netherlands international Roefs has kept seven clean sheets in the Premier League this season and only Burnley’s Martin Dubravka has kept more.
He is under contract with the Stadium of Light until 2030.
The Premier League duo have their sights set on outsiders Chelsea
Axel Disasi is a player to keep an eye on in the final week of the transfer window.
Disasi was recently reinstated into first-team training by Chelsea’s so-called ‘Bomb Squad’ but has not played for the Blues since May 2024.
Chelsea’s recall of Aaron Anselmino from his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund has only pushed Disasi further down the pecking order.
West Ham and Crystal Palace are among the Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the Frenchman before the window closes next Monday.
The frozen sterling will remain in the cold
One player who will be left behind at Stamford Bridge is Raheem Sterling.
The England international, who earns £300,000 a week, is still training away from Chelsea’s first team but hopes of a move in this window appear to be fading quickly.
Sterling was previously the subject of a loan offer from West Ham but is only interested in a permanent move, while Fulham’s interest appears to have waned as they close in on Manchester City’s Oscar Bobb.

Bayern Munich made an approach to Sterling in the final hours of the summer transfer window, but Sterling had always preferred to remain in London.
So unless there’s some drama down the road, he’ll likely be without a ball for at least the rest of the season.
Marinakis’ manager Plan-B
Nottingham Forest remain interested in Fulham manager Marco Silva.
Silva is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to commit to signing a new contract.
The Portuguese previously worked under Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, during his time as coach of Olympiacos, who he led to the Greek title.
Forest boss Sean Dyche signed a contract until the summer of 2027 and became Forest’s third manager of the season in October.

However, there were rumors ahead of the weekend win at Brentford that Marinakis was unhappy with the recent run of one win in eight games in all competitions.
