Raheem Sterling has been urged to stay in the Premier League and join another London club after leaving Chelsea.
The 31-year-old is a free agent after the Blues terminated his contract by mutual consent on Tuesday.

Sterling is leaving Stamford Bridge 18 months early after not playing for the club since May 2024.
Fulham, Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen had already shown interest in signing the winger in the summer.
Meanwhile, West Ham United inquired about a possible loan deal this month.
However, Sterling’s wish was a permanent move as the former England international preferred to stay in London.
Who should Sterling join?
Jamie O’Hara has now told the striker to consider a controversial move to his old club Tottenham Hotspur.
Discussing Sterling’s next landing spot at Sports Bar, the The Pitch Prospect co-host explained: “I’d like him at Tottenham.
“I would definitely take Sterling at Tottenham. I think he’s a good player. He’s better than what we have.”
O’Hara continued: “I would sign him until the end of the season if he was willing.”
“I don’t know what other offers he has, maybe he has a long-term contract in Saudi Arabia that offers him a lot of money.”
“But if the candle is still burning and he still wants to be a Premier League footballer, I would give him a chance at Tottenham.”

The former midfielder believes Sterling still has the desire to compete in the Premier League, adding: “I think he still has the desire.”
“He was training on his own and his contract was paid off. He wasn’t going to get the full severance package, so he basically turned to them and said I can’t be here anymore, I have to go and play.”
“So for me he has a desire to play. Spurs need a left winger. Well I’m not saying give him a long-term contract but I would give him a contract if he was offered on a free transfer, you get Sterling at a football club.”
“I think he’s a good player. I think he could still produce moments. I think if he got his confidence back and a bit of confidence back I would have him at Tottenham.”
However, a move to Spurs could be controversial for Sterling given his former clubs.
Not only did he spend three and a half years at Chelsea, but he also spent a season on loan at Arsenal last season.

However, despite his links to Spurs’ bitter London rivals, Sterling would have a wealth of Premier League experience.
Sterling has played 396 top-flight games for Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, scoring 123 goals and providing 75 assists.
During his time at City he won eleven trophies, including four league titles.
At international level, Sterling has also scored 20 goals in 82 caps for the Three Lions.
The Pitch Prospect verdict
Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan sent a warning to clubs looking to sign the now freely available Sterling.
He told White & Jordan: “He was bombed at City, he was bombed at Chelsea, he was bombed at Arsenal. What’s the common denominator? Raheem Sterling.”
“Why would Crystal Palace want to sign a player who doesn’t want to lift a leg, who would rather sit there?
“I guarantee you that if someone came and offered him £500,000 a week he wouldn’t be so worried about playing in London, living in London or working in London.”
