Strand Larsen has only scored one goal in the Premier League this season.

Wolves have valued the 25-year-old at around £40million.

The Premier League bottom club rejected a £55m offer from Newcastle in the summer transfer window.

Palace have intensified talks with intermediaries working on Strand Larsen’s exit in recent days.

Now The Pitch Prospect understands they will submit an offer worth £45m with a further £5m in add-ons.

Strand Larsen is considered a replacement for the departing Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Nottingham Forest does made a £35 million bid for the striker, although personal conditions are not a problem.

However, Spurs could also be the ones to watch in the final days of the window.

The Pitch Prospect’s verdict on Strand Larsen

He scored 14 goals in 35 games for Wolves last season and was therefore in high demand.
