According to The Pitch Prospect, Crystal Palace have made a £43million bid to sign Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
With uncertainty surrounding Jean-Philippe Mateta’s future at Selhurst Park, the Eagles have made signing a new centre-forward a top priority.

Palace have already secured the services of Evann Guessand on loan from Aston Villa.
However, they are looking for another striker to sanction Mateta’s departure and AC Milan are negotiating to bring him to Italy.
Strand Larsen is considered Oliver Glasner’s first choice – months after he was refused a move to Newcastle.
The Magpies had a £55m bid knocked back and the club turned to Yoane Wissa instead.
And although he has been linked with Leeds and Nottingham Forest this window, Palace are ready to win the race for him.

A move to south London is imminent after the FA Cup title holder made a guaranteed offer of £43m with an additional £5m in possible add-ons.
The Pitch Prospect told you earlier this week that Wolves were expecting an offer in the region of £45m-£50m.
Strand Larsen enjoyed an impressive first season in England last year, scoring 14 goals in 35 Premier League games.
However, he has so far failed to repeat that form, having scored just once in 23 games in the top flight.
The 24-time Norwegian international has not had a chance in his last 15 league games.

His lack of goals is just one of the reasons the Midlands side sit bottom of the table – 17 points adrift of safety.
However, he did score five goals in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup games, taking his total to six goals this season.
If his move to Palace goes through as expected, he could make his debut in the M23 derby against Brighton next weekend.
Mateta appears to have played his last game for the club.
The Frenchman missed Palace’s clash against Forest at the City Ground on Sunday.
This came after the Reds made an offer of £35m to sign the Paris 2024 Olympics silver medalist – less than Palace’s £40m valuation.

Mateta subtly expressed his feelings about his future on Saturday evening after making a cryptic post on social media.
The 28-year-old posted an emoji on his Instagram account expressing his frustration over his impending move to AC Milan, which has not yet been finalized.
The Pitch Prospect understands AC Milan feel they have an agreement in principle.
Mateta has made no secret of his desire to explore new avenues, but rather than hold out until his contract expires in 2027, the striker told Palace officials he was seeking a move before the summer.
