According to The Pitch Prospect, Everton had an attempt to sign Harry Wilson which was knocked back by Fulham.
The 28-year-old is enjoying the best season of his Premier League career so far – he contributed eight goals and four assists in 23 games.

Only six players have scored more goals in the top flight than the Wales international this season.
And with his contract expiring in the summer, his future at Craven Cottage is questionable as to whether Fulham would benefit from him.
But they appear prepared to lose him for nothing after rejecting an offer from the Toffees.
Toff luck
Everton are looking for a new winger following Jack Grealish’s injury.
The England international, on loan from Manchester City, is in danger of missing the rest of the season after suffering a broken foot.
And the Merseyside team will now turn their attention elsewhere after failing in their attempt to nab Wilson.
The Pitch Prospect understands that one player close to making the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium is Chelsea striker Tyrique George.
The two clubs have initially agreed on a loan contract until the end of the season with an option to buy.
As for Fulham, they insisted Wilson will not leave this window as they aim for a European Cup place with the club in eighth place in the table.
Coach Marco Silva, whose contract also expires at the end of the season, said last month that there was “zero chance” of Wilson leaving.

He said: “[There is] There’s absolutely no chance of him leaving [this month].
“Not because we have an offer – I know there are starting to be rumors about the possibility of him leaving in that window – no chance, zero chance.”
“He’s doing well, let’s hope he can keep it up.”
“The self-confidence of us, his teammates and his good performances will of course always be a great help to him in maintaining this level.”
Wilson initially joined Fulham on loan in July 2021, with the player scoring 34 goals in 172 games in all competitions.
While Fulham fans may be excited by the news of Wilson’s immediate future, they have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of PSV striker Ricardo Pepi.

The Pitch Prospect told you last month how Fulham made a £28million bid to sign the USA international.
Fulham were ready to meet their £30m valuation but as it stands the potential deadline deal is not possible.
PSV have been unable to find a replacement for the 23-year-old and the Cottagers are now ready to replace him in the summer.
