As Tottenham’s Premier League problems continue, star striker Dominic Solanke is being targeted by Premier League rivals Newcastle.
Those already confident of their top-flight status are considering making a dent in the struggling Londoners, with the striker reportedly a key target for the Toon.

Spurs are not yet in the relegation zone but their appalling form has them one point ahead of Nottingham Forest and West Ham in 16th.
The defending Europa League champions, hit by a series of injuries and suspensions, have not won since December 28.
Their disastrous 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace – ironically the team they last beat – was their 11th Premier League game without a win.
There have been seven defeats in this series – six of them since Solanke’s return from an ankle injury.
However, the center forward was a rare bright spot with his hard-working performances.
He also scored three goals in that time, including two crucial goals against Man City, one of which became a contender for goal of the season via a scorpion strike.
He said after the strike: “It’s great work from Conor. When he left I thought, ‘This is my moment.’ It was a crazy feeling watching it hit the net. I’m having a blast watching it hit the net!
“It’s a very rare goal to be scored. We don’t see many of them being scored. Of course it’s nice to try it out, but if it happens it’s one in a million. It’s definitely one of the best goals I’ve ever scored. It’s a goal I’ll definitely keep my eye on for a long time.”
Solanke also scored in the recent defeat to Crystal Palace, firing the ball into the goal after an excellent move from Archie Gray.
It was he who had to face the media afterwards and cut a calm figure despite the chaos around him.

Solanke said: “We just had a big conversation. We know that the situation we are in is definitely not where we want to be, so we need to figure out how to get out of this situation as quickly as possible.”
“We know there were difficulties, but we are no longer in a position to make excuses.
“We have to do the job on the pitch and I think it’s easy to say we want to get better, but we have to make sure we are better on the pitch.”
Due to his form, he is on Newcastle’s wanted list despite the long injury layoff.
The Pitch Prospect understands the Magpies will sell their current starting striker Nick Woltemade because he is unhappy with the club.
Solanke would be a smart replacement for the striker if Spurs are relegated and forced to sell.

Toon boss Eddie Howe also worked with the 28-year-old at Bournemouth, which could help with a potential transfer.
Woltemade, a £69million summer signing, has had ups and downs since arriving at St James’ Park
He has scored seven goals in 25 Premier League games but has not scored in the competition since December 20, when he scored a brace against Chelsea.
Since then, the German has scored in 20 appearances across all competitions.
Despite the decline in form, his national coach Julian Nagelsmann still has confidence in the striker and is likely to go to the World Cup this summer.
