Transfer notebook: Sean Dyche stance on Tottenham, Liverpool could lose another player to Real Madrid, Man United eye West Ham star

TalkSPORT understands Sean Dyche would not be willing to take over Tottenham Hotspur in the short term.

Dyche is one of the names being considered if Spurs, as expected, decide to sack interim coach Igor Tudor after his nightmarish start.

Dyche has been touted as a possible option for Tottenham should they sack Tudor.

The former Burnley and Everton manager was aiming for a signing beyond the end of the season, just as he did when he was appointed by Spurs’ relegation rivals Nottingham Forest.

Hiring Dyche would be an acknowledgment from the Tottenham hierarchy that they need a fireman-style gaffer to save them from an embarrassing relegation to the Championship.

Other possible options include reinstating two-time former interim coach Ryan Mason or club legend Robbie Keane, who currently manages Hungarian champions Ferencvaros.

As The Pitch Prospect exclusively revealed on Wednesday, hardliner Tudor has already angered many of his players.

Kon-artist

Ibrahima Konate’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain.

Konate’s current contract expires this summer and he has yet to sign an extension.

This means he could choose to follow his former teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold and leave on a free transfer.

While talks with Liverpool appear to be ongoing, Real Madrid are said to be among the clubs keeping an eye on Konate’s situation.
