According to The Pitch Prospect, Enzo Fernandez is open to a move to Real Madrid this summer.
The Pitch Prospect has learned that a transfer to the Bernabeu would be seen as a dream move for the Chelsea vice-captain.

Real have not yet made any formal moves or begun talks as they continue to shortlist midfielders for the summer.
When will Fernandez’s future be clarified?
The Argentine world champion also confirmed this when he was asked about his future during his international appearance for Argentina.
“We’ll see after the World Cup,” Fernandez said when asked about his future.
“We haven’t had any discussions yet. To be honest, nothing yet [with Real Madrid]. Now I’m focused on Chelsea and what’s left in the final games of this season.”
Which other clubs could try to sign Fernandez?
Fernandez has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain Saudi Arabia.
The Pitch Prospect understands he favors a move to LaLiga and that PSG have not made any moves to try and sign the Chelsea midfielder despite multiple reports.
While Fernandez has genuine interest from Al Ittihad, he is not open to joining Saudi Arabia at this point in his career.
Why is Fernandez open to a move from Chelsea?
Chelsea do not want to lose Fernandez and he has not directly told the club that he wants to leave.
However, The Pitch Prospect has learned that Fernandez was disappointed with the manner of Enzo Maresca’s exit and is actively exploring options without directly promoting an exit.
Fernandez wants to play regular Champions League football and how he approaches the summer could be influenced by whether Chelsea qualify for that tournament again.

Chelsea sources remain calm about the situation.
Fernandez has a contract until 2032 as a club option has already been triggered on his long-term contract.
Chelsea not only view Fernandez as unsaleable, but are also willing to offer the 25-year-old new terms.
Some initial discussions about a new deal have begun, but the parties are neither advanced nor close to agreement.
Chelsea have signed Fernandez Benfica in January 2023 for a then British transfer record of £107m, and even if the Blues were to deviate from their current stance no sale would be sanctioned due to a book loss.
Given that Chelsea hold all the cards, it is difficult for Fernandez to leave Chelsea this summer, but the player is still willing to do so if real Madrid Come and call.

Fernandez first raised hopes of a possible summer exit from Chelsea when he could not say with certainty that he would stay at Stamford Bridge in an interview following a 3-0 defeat to PSG in the Champions League game.
The result in the second leg completed an 8-2 aggregate defeat against the Parisians in the round of 16.
Liam Rosenior responds to Fernandez speculation
Blues boss Liam Rosenior was hesitant to speak about Fernadnez’s revelation immediately after the game, but later confirmed he had held talks with the Argentina international, who reiterated his commitment to the club.
“I had a detailed, great conversation with Enzo at the training ground this morning,” Rosenior said last Thursday.
“It’s not just about the comments, but also about the future and how much we want to win the upcoming games.”
“I would say he has really made it clear how happy he is here, how much he wants to win for the team and how passionate he is for this football club.”
“He also said that the translation and emotions were misinterpreted. He is fully committed to this football club.”
