According to The Pitch Prospect, Crystal Palace would consider a “big offer” for Adam Wharton this summer.
Bayern Munich have long been interested in the 20-year-old midfielder, who enjoyed an impressive breakthrough in the Premier League with the Eagles.

Bayern were interested in the teenager at the time, as was Chelsea following his rapid rise in the Championship, but Palace won the race.
That could be a costly mistake for both European giants, as Palace will now demand a hefty transfer fee if a club comes calling in the summer – and it is understood Bayern Munich remain interested.
The deal for Wharton was another shrewd move by Eagles bosses, who would have hoped he would follow the same path as Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze at the club.
Olise and Eze were also poached from League Two – by Reading and Queens Park Rangers respectively – and have become key first-team stars at Palace, with both now linked with a potential big-money exit.
Wharton’s first three months at Selhurst Park were certainly memorable as he quickly became part of Palace manager Oliver Glasner’s starting lineup.
The young midfielder made 15 appearances, played a key role in Palace’s 4-0 win over Manchester United and contributed three assists, including one in the 3-1 win over Wolves on Saturday.
He has even been considered for a late call-up to England’s Euro 2024 squad as bookmakers drastically slash the odds of his name being on Gareth Southgate’s list this summer.

“But Adam Wharton was absolutely brilliant in central midfield.”
“He worked hard, had quality on the ball and good football intelligence.
“He’s only 20 but he made promotion from the Championship look easy mid-season. 10/10.”
