TalkSPORT understands Wolves are confident of signing Southampton striker Che Adams.
Scotland international Adams is expected to leave the Saints on a free transfer when his contract expires in the summer.

And Wolves boss Gary O’Neil is keen to bring him to Molineux to strengthen the Midlands team’s attacking line.
O’Neil recently explained that Wolves don’t have many resources available this summer, with Adams seen as an attractive option as he costs nothing from July 1st.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, he said: “I don’t think we’ll have any money available if no-one leaves.”
O’Neil added: “I wouldn’t expect it to be a summer where we spend millions of the club’s own money on players.”
“I think it won’t be the same as last year where we have to sell tons and make a huge profit, but I wouldn’t expect it to be a buying spree.”
Adams, who joined Southampton from Birmingham for £15m in 2019, was close to leaving St Mary’s last year when Everton made a £12m bid for the 27-year-old’s services.
But the south coast side rejected Instead, he wanted to keep the center forward in order to secure immediate promotion back to the Premier League.
The former Blues goalscorer has impressed this season, scoring 18 goals in all competitions.

His 16 league goals helped the Saints reach the play-offs, where he missed the semi-final first leg against West Brom due to injury.
And as a reinforcement for Southampton, coach Russell Martin has confirmed he hopes the centre-forward will be available for Friday night’s second leg against the Baggies, live on The Pitch Prospect.
He noted, “I think there was hope that he would be up for the task, but the risk outweighs the reward.”
“It was pretty soon after the game [at Leeds in final Championship match]. He worked. He did everything he could.
“We will take him to the training pitch in the next few days and see how he reacts. He’s important.”
Should Southampton get past the Baggies, a Wembley date with Leeds or Norwich awaits in the play-off final on Sunday May 26.
