Bayern Munich are keen to sign highly-rated Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, The Pitch Prospect has learned.
The 20-year-old has impressed since joining the Eagles from Championship side Blackburn Rovers in early February.

Wharton, who has provided an assist for three goals in his 16 appearances so far, is currently under a five-and-a-half-year contract at Selhurst Park.
However, Palace could be tempted to sell the midfielder, who they signed for £22.5m earlier this year, for a big profit.
The Pitch Prospect reported earlier this month that the Eagles were considering a “big offer” for the young player.
If a deal goes through, he could be Vincent Kompany’s first signing at Bayern after he was announced as their new head coach.
Wharton may not be the only notable departure from Palace this summer, which has enjoyed great success under Oliver Glasner.
The Pitch Prospect has learned that Manchester United are confident of signing Michael Olise, while Palace are demanding at least £60 million.
Due to his equally impressive performances, Eberechi Eze has also been linked with a possible departure before next season.
Wharton made his debut for Palace in the 4-1 defeat to Brighton, coming on as a substitute for the injured Marc Guehi.

Since then, he has started 15 times in the Premier League for the South London team and has proven to be a key player despite his inexperience.
Although he only joined Palace this year, a transfer to Bayern would be a huge opportunity for him to shine on the big stage in Germany.
Kompany took over the management of the club following the departure of Thomas Tuchel and a season in which the club failed to win a trophy for the first time since 2012.
He joins Bayern after a two-year stint at Burnley. The club was relegated from the Premier League this season, finishing 19th.
