Aston Villa legend Gabby Agbonlahor is not worried about the rumours linking superstar striker Ollie Watkins with Liverpool.
Watkins helped Villa secure an unexpected place in next season’s Champions League with an impressive 19 goals in the Premier League last season.

According to The Sun, new Liverpool manager Arne Slot wants the 28-year-old to replace unsuccessful Reds striker Darwin Nunez ahead of his first season at Anfield.
However, Agbonlahor insists that Villa would not sell their star player under any circumstances, not even for £100 million.
“I’m not worried,” said the Villa icon when asked about Liverpool’s alleged interest in Watkins.
“You’re going to hear these rumors because he’s performed so well.
“He’s ‘Mr. Reliable’ and his injury history is excellent. He doesn’t get injured. He goes out there no matter what.”
“19 Premier League goals last season… outstanding. No penalties. His finishing has become so clinical.”
“In October he signed a five-year contract until 2028. Aston Villa have to sell. But I would rather sell shares than give Watkins to anyone.”
“He’ll cost you £100 million – and I don’t think they’d sell him for £100 million.”

“Aston Villa is under construction. Unai Emery has just signed a five-year contract.”
Agbonlahor, who spent his entire 13-year career at Villa Park, is the club’s all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 73 goals.
Watkins has already scored 59 goals after four seasons at the club – and Agbonlahor hopes that his record will be broken by the Englishman.
“Records don’t bother me,” Agbonlahor added. “I wasn’t a determined striker who played for Villa for 15 years.”
“I spent half my career playing on the left wing in a team that was struggling in the Premier League.
“So my record should be broken. He needs 15 goals. He will break that by January or February.”
“I want him to stay and play for England as a striker for Villa. So I hope he gets playing time at the European Championships.”
