As The Pitch Prospect has learned, Graham Potter would be a candidate for the position of England coach if Gareth Southgate resigns after the European Championships.
Potter, who is believed to have recently parted ways with his long-time agent John Morris, has been unemployed since being sacked by Chelsea in April last year.

The former Brighton boss, a favourite to succeed Roberto De Zerbi at his former club, has rejected numerous offers to return to the coaching bench, including from Ajax, Nice and Leicester, just days after leaving Chelsea.
Potter’s inner circle believes he is saving himself for a big moment, and the 49-year-old is admired by future Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth and minority owner Sir Jim Ractliffe.
However, with the English Football Association (FA) keen to appoint a home-grown coach following Southgate’s departure, Potter is aware that he is being viewed as a potential successor.
Not yet Don
Jadon Sancho is only likely to return to Borussia Dortmund next season if Manchester United is willing to agree to another loan deal.
The German giants are keen to keep Sancho after he helped them reach the Champions League final, but do not have the cash to fund a permanent transfer given his market value of £50 million and salary of more than £250,000 a week.
Instead, they are focusing their efforts on keeping Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen, who has a £35 million release clause in his contract with the Blues.
Sancho has not played for United since his social media dispute with manager Erik ten Hag in September and sources close to the England international say he does not want to return to Old Trafford if the Dutchman keeps his job.
Ten Hag’s future remains uncertain despite winning the FA Cup as United’s new minority owners INEOS conduct a thorough review of the season, which saw United finish a poor eighth in the Premier League and bottom of their Champions League group.

Thanks, but Adarabiono thanks
Chelsea-bound Tosin Adarabioyo turned down the chance to triple his Fulham salary by moving to Newcastle.
According to The Pitch Prospect, Newcastle offered Tosin a contract worth over £100,000 a week to win the race for his signature.
But the centre-back, who was also courted by Manchester United, has instead opted for Chelsea to reunite with his former Manchester City U21 coach Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.
Missing out on Tosin is a huge blow for the Magpies, as signing him on a free transfer would have helped them ease their concerns about profitability and sustainability. However, they are close to completing a deal for former Bournemouth centre-back Lloyd Kelly, who is also out of contract.

Hulls Greavance
Hull face an uphill battle to keep defender Jacob Greaves.
Relegated Burnley are ready to make a £15million raid on their current Championship rivals for Greaves.
The 1.93 m tall central defender is also on the radar of West Ham and Everton.
Greaves, 23, played 43 games last season as Hull missed out on a play-off place on the final day.
