Kylian Mbappe is expected to earn an extraordinary sum after his move to Real Madrid is finally completed.
The French star’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired at the end of the season and he announced his departure this summer.

Mbappe’s sensational move to Madrid was announced on Monday and although he was signed on a free transfer, there seems to be a lot of financial outlay involved in the transfer.
In an interview with The Pitch Prospect earlier this year, European football expert Andy Brassell said: “The fact is, of course, that he is worth around €80 million [£68.5million] also on the table in terms of loyalty bonuses.
“So, with his consent, he managed to return to the PSG team in the autumn.
“A free transfer is not free because it is a free transfer. There is always a high transfer fee.

“So he would get an estimated 150 million euros. [£128.5million] Transfer from Real Madrid.
“It is very unusual for Real Madrid to give him most of his image rights.
“Obviously, this could not even be tens of millions, but hundreds of millions.”
The figures mentioned are staggering for a player who was entering the final months of his contract with PSG.

Brassell added: “We have said all along that this move was not about money.
“You have to remember that under his contract with PSG he has earned 72 million euros before taxes over the last two years.
“According to current French tax law, that is around 56 million euros net.”
“It looks like he’s earning €35 million a year at Real Madrid. So we’re talking about him taking a 50 percent pay cut.”
“He would always have chosen PSG if it was about money, but we always said it’s not about money.”
With Mbappe’s move to Madrid, the Royals will become a really strong team that already has top stars like Vinicius Jr., Eduardo Camavinga and Luke Modric.
But the most exciting thing will probably be to see Mbappe’s partner Jude Bellingham, who has made a brilliant start at the Bernabeu since his mega-transfer from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
Although he is a midfielder by nature, Bellingham has been deployed in a more attacking role by Carlo Ancelotti, which has helped the 20-year-old score 23 goals this season.
The addition of Mbappe could be a recipe for success for Spain and Europe in the coming years.
